Defining portrait sculpture of famous Welsh rugby player. He was one of the greatest scrum halves ever to grace the pitch. Apart from his mythical status as a Welsh National Team player he transfered all his skills to The stage of the British and Ireland Lions touring team and is above all revered for a try he scored against the All Blacks.
The sculpture captures the instantly recognisable pose he instinctively adopted as he readied himself to pass the ball.
The first casting of this sculpture was presented to Gareth Edwards at an event honouring his contibution to Welsh and World rugby and his status as a living legend.
There cannot be a better Rugby prize than this or perpetual trophy. Cast in Thomas & Peters patent Float Bronze it can be patinated should the buyer want to have it in the classic monumental finish which as a plus means that it never has to be polished.
